Award-winning De Stefani Winery represents a unique local experience with a beautiful history. Cured with passion for four generations, the wines of the De Stefani family were grown in a unique “Caranto” soil specific to the surrounding microclimate. Combined with the “natural philosophy” of the company, aimed at being self-sustained (using solar energy) and using biodynamic principles, the De Stefani Winery represents a unique product and experience.
In 1990 Alessandro De Stefani (fourth generation) joined his father Tiziano in producing wines which are recommended in the most important wine guides under a very natural philosophy: in the vineyard absence of herbicides and chemical fertilizers and in the cellar vinification without added preservatives and sulphites. Enhancing the status and value of their native vines, Alessandro developed a world distribution network which brings the De Stefani wines in the finest restaurants and specialized wine shops of more than 40 countries in five continents. The types of wines produced by De Stefani are the typical white wine, red wine, raisin wine ("straw wine") of the Piave area as well as the Colli di Conegliano and Valdobbiadene areas and last but not least, Prosecco wine.
