Description

This museum is a required stop for every visitor in Florence. The size alone occupies two floors of the large building built at the end of the 16th century. It was designed by Giorgio Vasari on behalf of Cosimo I de' Medici (Duke of Florence), to host the Uffizi (in ancient Italian, the offices where they managed the city). The innovative geometries and the majesty immediately made it a milestone in the city.

The museum is famous all over the world for its collections of ancient sculptures and paintings that touch every great exponent of Italian art and even some European ones. The architecture of the Gallery itself will leave you speechless for its extraordinary beauty. The path that you will find inside will fully involve you, making you forget the time passing by.
Whether you are keen on artistic paintings or not, it's worth seeing here!
